Kick-starting a Philadelphia franchise. The Philadelphia Union–MLS’s hottest new team–needed a website that would effectively sell their brand, tell their story, and jumpstart the buzz for their upcoming inaugural season in 2010. The catch: they wanted it within 6 weeks.

 

I helped deliver a tech-savvy product that integrated ticket sales, e-commerce, and multimedia, among other exciting features. We provided the Union’s fan base the perfect environment to watch videos, meet their new team, and get breaking news via on-site updates and social media outlets like
Facebook and Twitter.

 

Following its launch at a May 11th press conference, the site received over 20,000 unique visitors within the first hour
and continued to help boost season ticket sales.
